Students Advocating For Education (SAFE)

Mission

Students Advocating for Education (SAFE) mobilizes resources to improve education outcomes for youth in Redwood City, North Fair Oaks, Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. SAFE acts as a catalyst for change to build strong communities and foster civic leadership. 

What INCH does

INCH is the umbrella organization for SAFE and helps support funding sources for SAFE programs.

Programs

Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program 2011      

In partnership with The Latino Commission (TLC), Students Advocation for Education is sponsoring an 8 week Teen Pregnancy Prevention summer program for youth of Redwood City, Fair Oakes, Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. 

The program goal is to mobilize communities to prevent teen pregnancy, to increase opportunities for youth and young parents, and to empower young people to make healthy decisions about relationships, sex, parenting, and life.
