Auto Ministry Network portal log-inGo directly to donor pageSummary Self-supporting people need reliable transportation to get and keep jobs. INCH’s Auto Ministry provides that. Here’s how it works:
Details The INCH auto ministry delivers safe working cars to local needy families. The INCH program differs from the many other auto donation programs because the whole car actually gets to the local person needing it. In contrast, the highly-advertised car donation programs sell the car, often outside the USA. They donate a sum to the selected charity, keeping the rest of the money for expenses and advertising. The INCH Auto Ministry works with local help organizations to qualify and look after the recipient. INCH manages the paperwork, the DMV requirements, the tax process, and gets the car delivered. INCH also oversees the insure-ability of the recipient. All INCH expenses are covered by separate money donations. For example, one donation through Shelter Network enabled a young mother to drive one of her children to regular medical care in Redwood City, allowing her to keep her job. Another donation coming from Menlo Presbyterian Church went to a recipient in that same church. How to participate Donors Contact INCH to get any of your questions answered. The procedures for car donation are fairly simple, located on our car gift page. Congregations Select a member of your community able to describe the program to possible donors within your community. All your member needs to do is to support the opportunity as one of the ministries provided. INCH will do the paperwork and provide the guidance. Service agencies Please contact INCH, and we will work with you either on a one-off basis or to set up a regular program. Recipients INCH will ask you to go through a congregation or other service organization. Please contact INCH if you require assistance in this. |
